I see that Hamlin Park has made a comment and is following us too. If your dog was not mentioned in the first post....not to worry, every dog will have his day.
Today, May 2, 2010, it was grey, but not rainy at Wiggly. There was a photographer visiting who is planning a story for Chicago Social Magazine's June issue to be out in the beginning of June. There will be a story and photos of one special dog. It could be yours????
I heard that John had written a comment, though I do not see it. That could simply be my techno-challenged nature. The comment supposedly introduces the one and only Chimmy... 4 year old Portugese Water Dog who is queen of the tree stump sitting contest. She sits on the stump and then jumps up to catch tennis balls thrown in her direction. Usually, she catches it. I am told the her human calls her , "The Iberian Bitch" who struts into dog park with great ado.
I have it on reliable information that the cheerleaders and the tomboys are into it once again. It seems that there are various factions in dp. Me, I try to stay clear of all of them, because it is about the dogs. But dp, like everything else is a microcosm of society and life. Conflicts arise and are or are not settled. Romances start and end...and some continue.
Kristen is a warm weather only dp human. She and her mighty pugle, "Bruzer" are regulars once the sun comes out. Bruzer is quite a handsome little boy with a big attitude. He and Chimmy are best dog park dog friends.
Today, Blanche, the American Bull dog pup of a huge 7 months of age was whining because Aengus the chocalate lab, as usual, was hogging the red evil Kong toy. Blanche kept barking and then bit the feet of the kong to attempt to pull it from Aengus's mouth. No such luck. But it was quite an amusing site. Occasionally, Blanche would swipe her paw against Aengus' snout. Pretty cute. But, in the end, Aengus prevailed. I am told the
