NEW DOGS, NEW THOUGHTS

Hi,

First I would like to draw attention to the fact that there was a rape at Sheffield and George two days ago. It was a break-in through an unlocked window. The guy was very slick and wore gloves. Be careful.


Now to the dogs..new dogs: Stella Celine, a chuaua(sp) small little creature came from a pet store. The human, when asked about puppy mills said "absolutely not a puppy mill store". I wonder how she knew this. Anyway, her other dog, a cute pug was a rescue.

Fluffy a long haired chuaua(sp) I am goin to have to use a dictionary to find that spelling. Fluffy was, well, fluffy. A carrot colored long haired dog. Most fetching.

Lizzie a 5 month old Paws veteran, is a sweet sheperd and mystery mix. I think she is going to get big.

I can't remember if I wrote about Shadow. Shadow is a pure bred Belgian Sheep Dog. All long haired and black with a touch of white on his chest as is breed specific. The humans got him at a breeder in Ohio. Shadow was aged two and not house broken. Someone had returned him to the breeder who sounded like a good one. He made all owners promise to offer any returned dogs to him first. So, Shadows, human got him.

Have you all noticed an influx of people from the Detroit area? I have. The economy there is so bad that many people are just migrating west. Met a great dog who was a Detroit rescue re-located to Chicago. I can't remember her name.

Speaking of the economy, many people are struggling and dog park is a place of refuge and therapy for many of the humans who attend. Be positive and supportive to all.
