Hi,
First I would like to draw attention to the fact that there was a rape at Sheffield and George two days ago. It was a break-in through an unlocked window. The guy was very slick and wore gloves. Be careful.
Now to the dogs..new dogs: Stella Celine, a chuaua(sp) small little creature came from a pet store. The human, when asked about puppy mills said "absolutely not a puppy mill store". I wonder how she knew this. Anyway, her other dog, a cute pug was a rescue.
Fluffy a long haired chuaua(sp) I am goin to have to use a dictionary to find that spelling. Fluffy was, well, fluffy. A carrot colored long haired dog. Most fetching.
Lizzie a 5 month old Paws veteran, is a sweet sheperd and mystery mix. I think she is going to get big.
I can't remember if I wrote about Shadow. Shadow is a pure bred Belgian Sheep Dog. All long haired and black with a touch of white on his chest as is breed specific. The humans got him at a breeder in Ohio. Shadow was aged two and not house broken. Someone had returned him to the breeder who sounded like a good one. He made all owners promise to offer any returned dogs to him first. So, Shadows, human got him.
Have you all noticed an influx of people from the Detroit area? I have. The economy there is so bad that many people are just migrating west. Met a great dog who was a Detroit rescue re-located to Chicago. I can't remember her name.
Speaking of the economy, many people are struggling and dog park is a place of refuge and therapy for many of the humans who attend. Be positive and supportive to all.

SHADOW, BAM, BEAU AND FRANCES
Hi,
I was at dp this afternoon and met some new and old dog friends. Doug, human to Bam-Bam, the English Bull Dog wonder was there with Bam-meister's rubber rings. Doug uses the rings to suspend Bam Bam swinging him around in circles. This is amazing because Bam Bam is about 50 pounds. Good exercize, eh Doug?
Shadow...let me count the ways...to say what a lover dog. Shadow is a 4 year old Black Belgium Sheep Dog. Pure bred. He was adopted, so to speak, from a breeder in Ohio when he (the dog, not the breeder) was two years old. Shadow had been returned to the breeder by the first owner because, among other things, he was not potty trained. He must have lived outside most or all of the time. His lucky new humans have completely spoiled this little lover. He has a long black coat and is a real sweetheart. He leans into a person who is willing.
Also, making an appearance today at our dog stage were the packies named Beau and Frances Timothy. "Frank" is a pomeranian pooch who looked like a cat at first glance. He is orange and pretty. His human carried him into the park and I thought, why are they bringing this kitty cat in here? Well, Frank has quite a story. This little orange lover dog has three legs. He lost one of his back legs when a veterinarian left a forcep in his hip/leg during a surgery....and after. So, Frank lost a leg. He ended up at Animal Control and was taken to Anti-Cruelty. Fortunately, he was adopted by his new human. The human also adopted Beau Ransom..(partially named afte the human's mother). Beau is a Keeshun and mystery mix. What a doll he is. Fun and spunky and looks like a furry ball of energy. Two lucky dogs...
I am always amazed at the stories I hear at dp about both dogs and humans. How these beautiful critters can be mistreated nauseates me. But, I am happy that they get adopted by dp people. Most dogs at dp are rescued and other bought from breeders. I once saw the two cutest dogs at dp. I am not sure of their breeds: one was a tiny long haired daschund mix with a chuaua(sp??) the other was a petite little long haired something. The owners bought these two pups at what was Let's Pet, which is now, Dogs R Us. I asked where the owner thought these dogs came from. She said it was ok, because Let's Pet said they used breeders. And, it was further ok, because the owner was a member of PEETA...(PETA), you know, whatever. Duh!
But summer at dp is sweet and sunny. The temperature and humidity were perfect today. These are the days that make Chicago in the winter bearable. Is anyone reading this who is willing to do photography for this blog?? If so, let me know with a comment.

BEAR AND CHARLIE
Hi,
I am going to write about Bear today. Bear is about 4 years old, a yellow lab and akita mix.
He came from Paws, but this was his third adoption. He had come to Paws with his brother. Sadly, they did not get adopted together. At 2 1/2, Bear went through two homes prior to arriving at his forever home. His human, an Army vet with two deployments in Iraq totaling 2 years and 4 months. Fortunately, he came home uninjured. He said that Bear had been through several homes because, well....he has issues with cats. So, do I...and many others. Bear is sweet and romps around and likes to bark at other dogs who appear dominating to him. He looks like Frank (the tank) English Yellow Lab. The English labs are stocky and low to the ground. Bear has akita ears which flop with every step he takes. Quite amusing...I guess I think we should support our vets and our dogs.
Also, at dp today was Charlie. Charlie is a handsome boy of 6 years who came from the Anti-Cruelty Society. He was older when adopted. He is mostly white with a terrific caramel colored patch over one eye. He is a ????not sure, but think, sheperd, akita, collie and who knows what else hybrid. Doesn't that sound much better than MUTT? Mutt rhymes with Butt...not so good.
Memorial Day is coming. Did you know that dogs played a big part in the battle of Guadalcanal? Yes they did. Some got medals.
Not too much is shaking right now. I will get back to you later.

A CAUTIONARY TAIL...SAM
Hi Dog Lovers,
I was going to write about Tazer and Brownie today, but instead, I am going to tell you a whale of a tale. I went to DP today and ran into the dog walker, Melissa Bershire. She told me about the Springer Spaniel Sam who usually hangs around dog park in the late morning or early afternoon with Melissa a several other canine wonders.
About two weeks ago on a Saturday night, Sweet Sam, a black and white Springer with a pleasant and observant and quiet personality for a 14 month old pup, met with tragedy.
Sam and his humans were on the third floor condo's balcony. Everyone was having a really good time and enjoying Saturday night. While we humans know what a railing or balcony wall are for, dogs have the intelligence of a 2-4 year old. Sam, I believe may have been momentarily unattended on the balcony. Sadly, that was long enough for Sam to jump over the edge to his death. At least it was an immediate death and hopefully he did not suffer. His humans were very distraught and shortly after the tragedy, they called Sam's dog walker, Melissa to deal with the remains of Sam. At midnight on a Saturday night she called Forever Pets Funeral Home
773-318-4983. I usually do not mention a business, but this service was so responsive to this sad event that it deserves mention. They returned the call within 5 minutes. Shortly this service was on the scene to collect the remains of Sam and to comfort people. They said this is called Balcony syndrom. During summer months, many cats and dogs go over the balcony and or roof decks and that the funeral service is kept busy with this and says it is far more common than you would think.
So, please do think about your dog on the balcony. Do not leave them unattended on the balcony or roof. You would not leave a 2-4 year old child unattendedd. I liked Sweet Sam and feel badly for his humans and dog walker. I think just hearing about it was traumatizing for me.
We anthropomorphize our dogs as humans, but they are not. We love them like children, but they are not. We must protect them... yes we can.
On a lighter note, Tazer, a black German Sheperd pup nof 4 months is a recent addition to dp. His humans went out to Marengo to see a new litter of German Sheperd pups. The pups were not ready for homes, but they saw a Black Beauty who had just come through customs after having arrived from Germany. The humans fell in love and so Tazer is a new packie at parkie.

KIPPER, MATILDA & CHLOE Vol 1 #9
Greetings to Kipper, Matilda and all dog lovers,
I was very taken by the rescue stories of these three dogs who are both new to DP.
Kipper, a 5 year old Black Lab/ Spaniel mix. What a doll. Looks like a small lab with long curly spaniel ears..and he runs like the wind. His new humans found him on Craigs List. Kipper had been brought to a doggie day care and left there. His former "humans" gave false information: phone, address, names, etc. So the nice lady who ran the dog day care placed and ad on Craigies.
This young couple went to see him and fell in love...thank God for such good people and remember that dog spelled backwards is GOD.
Onto Matilda's story..she is a cutie. A 4 month old pit terrier pup who was rescued from gangbangers over in Logan Square. Her new owner saw this gang of bangers holding her. Supposedly, I sure wouldn't do this, he went up to the bangers and just took the pup away. He knew that she was dog fighting fodder. What a doll she is. She looks like a petite, Target dog. Her right eye has a black patch over it...(she is mostly white). Her left eye looks like someone made her up to look like an Egyptian eye make up thing. On her white back, she has two black one inch sized, perfectly shaped polka dots. And, she has such a fun personality and likes to wrestle alot with dogs her own size. No doubt she was saved from dog a vicious dog fighting pit.
Her human says he has saved other dogs the same way. Cajones of steel...like Kathy Griffin.
And. last but not least is Chloe. A pure bred French bull dog pup 7 or 8 months old who showed up at dog park for the first time yesterday. Her initial visit went swimmingly and she and her humans had a great time. A friend of a friend had purchase Chloe from a breeder thinkings she and their German Sheperd would get along....NOT. So, they placed an ad. Many people applied,
and they were strange or weird one way or another. Her now humans came in and usually unfriendly Chloe climbed right into the lap of her new dad, immediately. Love at first sight. The dad never had a dog as a child, but dogs know that he is one of the dog whisperers, because the doggies always come to him, even those that are skittish or afraid. Either you got it or you don't, but you can't BS a dog. As my dear friend, Franz Kafka said, "All wisdom and knowledge resides in dogs". Then why did he morph into a ...what was it a fly, coch roach or something cooty like in nature? This is a grand philosophical question of today.
Think... Why can't humans be more like dogs??? Discuss among yourselves. Especially the humans to Violet and Goose and Burly. I just correctly spelled Burly's name. Got it right, no "E".
Got to run to get to dp so me and my Jordan can get our daily dose.

CHAOS AT DP TODAY, VOL. 1 # 8
Hello Dog Lovers,
I have been coming to dog park...both Hamline and Wiggly Fields for a number of years. But, today was the most chaotic of all days. It was the Day of Days, so to speak. The Usual Suspects and their humans were present: Ollie, Angus, BoBo, Murphy, Jordan, Lizzie, and a new guy dog named Gaius (more later on him), but something about the mix today led to chaos and barking like I have never heard there before. It made the passing trains unhearable. Yeah. Someone commented that there must be a full moon tonight, because the animules were acting in a fiend-ish, (although no biting ensued) way. It was so peculiar. To be sure, everyone was on top of dog behavior, which is great, but every human was a bit puzzled. I know I was. It could be that Angus had the big yellow ball toy and would not give it up. So, what else is new? That is to be expected. Henry the pup English Bull dog was quite happy to just be there are run as fast as his little legs would propel him...and at time, surprisingly, it was PDQ.
Well, the doggies were taking a TNS attitude toward each other today and being vocal to the point of giving humans headaches. Our pooches were in rare form. Hopefully, they have gotten it out of their collective system and it will be reasonably quiet tomorrow. Please feel to comment or just add your two cents, or two sents.
Gaius, whose named after the well known dude, Gaius Julius Caesar of Roman Empire days. He is an American Bull Dog and is a 16 month old dog bought from a breeder. He carries himself with a fierce dignity. Perhaps, that is why the other dogs were a bit crazed today. Gaius lives up to his name as an Alpha...new pack member of great stature could be the changing of the pack balance and hence the uproar. We shall see. But, Gaius, will fit in as they all do, when the pack understands that he is "da Man".
Other dogs making an appearance this afternoon will make their cyber appearances soon. So, if your dog was there today, bring he/she again and they will get their due online.
Today's New York Times had a full page ad about the Humane Society of America. Did you know that the HSA gives only 1% of its collected funds to local shelters? This is a big issue. So, if you feel like donating, do it locally.
There are certain unwritten rules about dog park. I was reminded today by a human that dating from dog park is a no-no. Dog park is a place for the humans to de-compress from the madness of modern urban bs. Flirting is definitely going on, but dating, it is the general opinion, is verboten.

COOL OLDER DOGS...VOL. 1, #7
Hello,
At dog park this afternoon, I met the coolest senior dogs. Jessie, an 11 year old Golden Samoyed mix, although I like the concept of simply "Golden Samoyed". Sounds like one of those designer dogs that people pay a fortune for. But she looked like a golden sable fur coat...(please forgive me for saying that). Jessie is, also, notable for what she did not do. She was a leader school drop-out. Being a bit skittish so she did not make it as a service dog. But what a great mutt.
The usual suspects were not there early today. As I left, I ran into Mochi and human. Invited them to a trip to Prairie Wolf dog preserve out in the burbs. It takes a long time to get out there, but definitely worth the effort. Walked several miles with my dog off leash. It was great to be out in nature...not hearing trains or cars or sirens. When we returned, my pup ate dinner and fell into bed. It was good for both of us to get out of the city. Life is quieter and perhaps duller, but clean in the burbs. It has some appeal...for about 10 minutes. We are city people and city dogs, but enjoy the great outdoors, nonetheless.
I promised to mention Tera (with crutches and bone problems from running) and her little rescue cockapoo, Dolly. Also, Ken and James wanted me to mention little white, Cheeto. The rescued Cheeto (singular of Cheetos) a little maltapoo. Lot of that poo going on. Cheeto got his name when he arrived at the rescue center in Kenosha. The staff was all munching on Cheetos, hence, the name. It is like dog name etymology. Always interesting. BoBo the husky's name was given to him by Rob's ex-girl friend. He doesn't know the why's or wherefores.
People were asking about Maureen and where has she been keeping herself. Actually, I think that it is more a matter of when not if she shows up. I need to hear the latest installment of Knit Night stories. The "girls" get quite alot of press, apparently. Ask Maureen what that means.
Apropos of absolutely nothing, I saw a terrific movie which I am recommending. It is "Frozen River" which is a small independent film that was nominated for an Oscar, but had little following. It left me in awe. You can see it on Comcast if so inspired. It is very verbal for anyone who likes alot of dialogue in a movie. It's about miracles amid the double wides and the snow. My dog, Jordan, gave it two thumbs up.

TNS, MVPP AND TTFN Vol 1, #6 (PART 2)
I wanted to explain the anagrams posted above, but I forgot to tell you what they mean, yesterday. TNS, you will have to figure out for yourself. MVPP stands for Most Valuable Puppy Player.
TTFN means...Ta, Ta, For Now...
Today was a perfect day at dog park. The temperature and sunlight and breeze made it sublime. I got my camera up and running and had a number of successful shots of many doggies. I can' t wait to post the photos here. Photos coming very soon.
I met a guy named...(my memory fails me) whose black lab, sky, was a rescue. He had a friend whose dog had 7 pups and he found homes for all 7. Very dedicated to animules.
Yesterday, Slim Boy and Seth showed up at dog park. Slim Boy, a slender white german shepard mostly stayed to himself and ran around the shaded area and the time out area. Seth is committed to working with White German Shepards, of which he has had a number. Yeah.
I heard that there was a rumor that a group of teenagers were planning to de-pants Gary, Mojo and Floyd. Better get the de-panting brigade up and running.
Learned about dog allergies today. Velly interesting and expensive, too.
Penny the silver Great Dane was getting it mixed up today with a puppy named Zooey. Zooey is a 4 month old Golden Doodle....except she is black and soft furred. I always expect goldens to be, well, golden, after all. I guess Zooey was an anomaly.
So, I am awaiting drama to occur at dp so that I can make pithy and brilliant observations of the nature of human nature.

TNS, MVPP AND TTFN Vol 1
The mystery of the anagrams....what do they mean? Anyone who can guess all three win and all expenses paid trip to time out at dog park. Someone is sporting a tee shirt with a TNS logo. What can it possibly mean? More later on that....
Lucy the Weimeraner pup has been stealing hearts. She looks like she is out of a Wegman photo album: Sleek, silvery and slippery. Speaking of slippery, the addition of the swimming pool has brought much delight to the dogs and owners. Thanks to Cheryl, Olllie and Angus for providing the pool. It is hopefully, indestructable.
Yesterday, a "poor" young teen boy (hence to be known as "teen boy") wandered into dog park. Once again, this charming mascot was given grief by the older dudes. Threats of de-panting" lulled through the air. The teen boy had to make a very difficult decision: Starbucks or 7/11. I think he went for the Starry-buck and some sort of machiato delight. One can see teen boy's fablous blue eyes and in no time flat, he will have to contend with sweet young things flirting with him, although at this point he seems oblivious to all of this. Ah, sweet youth.
Not been too much drama-rama at dp these days. Must be the impoving weather has chilled everyone. Mack the pack came and visited us with his human who is getting more slender by the day. Kudos. Mack the pit, sometimes has issues with other dogs, so his human only brings Mack when he knows who is a dp and if Mack is up to it on any particular day. Mack is now a 75 pound muscle hound. Thanks to Mack's human for being a good pet owner and being sensitive to the needs of Mack and other doggies at the park.
Oh, where, oh where, have Vinny and Paulie gone? While these dogs may need not to attend dp their humans should show up and play with the bench warmers...the conversation is good and mostly a chuckle.
I will find a new inspiration and write again soon.

RAINY DAY IN DOG LAND Vol.1 # 4
I supposed wet weather is not for the faint hearted in dog land. The dogs don't seem to mind. I suppose that always living in the present and not really having self-consciousness is a blessing that dogs enjoy. Although, I once had a 100 pound female golden named, Abby, who came from the Anti-Cruelty who got embarrassed if you watched her curve her back and drop a "dog log". I once gave her a bit of a mouth wash because she had doggie bad breath, and she did not forgive me for 2 days. But she always forgave me...as they all forgive us. Abby and I were once walking down Lincoln Ave., near the intersection of Wellington. A fellow who seemed to hang around the neighborhood who was clearly developmentally challenged came up to Abby. She was very confused because she intuitively understood that the man was not in tune with how to behave with a dog. He wasn't unkind, just overly enthusiastic and Abby was confused by him and got a quizical look on the pretty face. Abby once saved me from a mugging by giving me the face of distress when two men seemed to be closing in on me on the street around 11 PM one night. She was a doll....a five foot long doll. I always felt that an aircraft carrier was walking by my side. So, like I said, they rescue us.
Many new puppy faces in puppy season. Two german shepards under 5 months both with Hispanic names...Paco and Chico...different owners of two great dogs. Then Sherman (as in Sherman tank) a daschund was taking on a little black french bulldog pup. They rolled around bringing laughter to all who voyeured. So, unself-conscious....what a gift. "Tis a gift to be simple..."
They say that dogs have the intelligence of a two year old child (with the exception of Aussies, Border Collies, Poodles and I am sure I am leaving out some brilliant calculous calculating dogs somewhere). But, such is life.
I hear that people are actually reading this. Please feel free to comment or just let us know that you are looking at this blog.
I am getting my camera up to snuff. Just got to find the thingy that connects it to the computer so we can have visuals on our dog children.
How do the dog walkers fit into the mix? The professional dog walkers are always at dog park, even on rainy days. It is not optional for them. One is a former Madison Ave Ad Executive who dropped out and feels much happier for the flight from Mad-Ad Hell. Dogs do not care about market shares. Most ad exec, actually, do not care either. This society, or perhaps, society in general, makes us all whores to climbing the ladder of prestige, money...or whatever floats your boat.

JOHN'S MYSTERY POST Vol. 1 #3
Tales from the DP - Welcome all.
As I traverse through the double security portal, my gaze is immediately drawn to a comely young woman who's eye's can not hide the pride and love she has for her flaxen coated friend. Her perfect skin literally glows whenever she set her gaze upon him. The place is a buzz with canines of all stripes and there diverse human family members. There is the ignoble black bitch from the Iberian Peninsular who without apology shakes her white froth on anyone unfortunately within range.
Soon a large SUV pulls into its officially unofficial reserved stall under the el tracks.
As the drivers door opens a figure exits and a hush comes over the bi-peds within the park - heads turn to follow his slow assured gate as he makes his way to the entrance. He is the parks lothario, his very presence sets hearts and tails a flutter - it is non other than ....................to be continued THIS WAS WRITTEN BY JOHN AND CHIMI
Also, a special shout out to Burley the black lab who will be 12 years old this Saturday, May 8th. His dog brother, Goose, who is famous for his unhappy stint on the Oprah show getting snipped on national TV. While that is ancient history...Goose has forgotten that he had cajones and happily goes through life and dog park not worse for the wear and literal, tear.
I had an interesting dp conversation about the personality traits of the dog people. Most do not have children, other than dogs. They are, either, post children or no children. They tend to be more in tune with their animal nature than non- dog owners (read: pathetic people who have not learned yet about the wonders of our four legged critters). Dog people are inordinately attached to their animals, their dogs health, life, friends, and even their poo. I heard of one dude who had his dog's food Fed Ex'd from downstate each month so his little prince would not have to endure changing from his puppy food. How many rescue dogs would that save???? Just a thought....
Today, the usual bench crowd splintered into those who wanted sun and those who wished to escape the sun. Maureen and I held down the sun bench until Cheryl, Angus and Ollie arrived. John and Jordan (the human, not my dog Jordan) held down the shaded bench. John was cajoled to share his faux "Tales from Dog Park" post by MOI. It is the first several paragraphs to his blog. Hope you all enjoy it and feel free to comment.

Vol 1, #2 Sunday in May and photos
Hello Dog Lovers,
Greetings and salutations. Today a photo-journalist, Marina, was at dog park. She got lots of great shots of all the dogs present. We decided that a day of dog and human photos done by a professional photographer, Marina Makapoulus, in early June at dog park would be great. All proceeds would go to dog park funds for renewal. What do you think? Stay tuned and more details will follow.
Today, Blanche the American Bull Dog pup ( 7 months and quite a big girl) was star of the day. She and Angus were into it over the Red Evil Kong. Angus, who is rather a dog hog regarding toys, had possession of the kong. Blanche, smartly, bit the feet of the toy sticking out of Angus's mouth. No such luck for Blanche for the mighty Angus chocalate lab prevailed. Such conflicts arise amid dogs and people.
I heard tell that two of the dp factions bubbled to the surface this week. The cheerleaders v.
Tom Boys went into battle. Each side got in one or two swipes at the other. At the end of the day the score was cheerleaders= 0, tom boys= 0. All things being equal, dog park is simply put a microcosm of life, society, pack behavior and histories.
I am always amazed to hear peoples' stories as sitting on the dog park bench is somewhat like urban Forrest Gump. The stories and lives become real. I think there is something about sitting in "nature" or as close to it as the city will allow, or perhaps the dog presence, makes people loosen their tongues. Everyone has his or her story. One person lost a big amount of weight. Some people had never seen this person prior to weight loss. Time marches on. I recall a dentist named Allen who used to come to dog park with his 12 year old golden named
"Walker". Haven't seen them in a year or two. So, I suppose that Walker went home for good.
I haven't recently seen "Cadence". He is a 180 pound Argentine Mastiff, or dogo as they are called. He is totally white and completely huge. Except, he thinks he is a lap dog. He is very sweet and wants to climb up on your lap. His name Cadence came from the fact that his, now newly married human, had been a Marine. So he wanted his dog to walk to a different drummer...a Marine drummer. Hope to see you all soon. His human had been in Iraq and came back to find $800 of parking tickets for a city sticker he couldn't have purchased while away. Then the city would not let him out of the fees. What a bunch of champs, huh?
I met a Brazilian lady at Hamlin Park who had two dogs, both from South America. One a golden and the other, a flat-coated retriever. Since there are only a few flat-coat breeders in the US, she wanted one from a different genetic pool. Her family had immigrated to Brazil after WWII after having survived the Holocaust. I think she was making a movie or writing a book about her family's experiences.
Chimmy, aka, Chimichanga (sp?) is one or the mid-day regulars. Chimmy, and Iberian beauty, is great friends with Bruzer, the pugle who should be ten feet tall. Kristen is Bruzer's human. John of dog park is the human of Chimmy. Chimmy is queen of the tree stump which she jumps up on and catches tennis balls with great accuracy.
If you have not read your pup's name yet, not to worry. For every dog shall have his day.
Still looking for a camera person to document these wonderful creatures who bring us so much love and pleasure. Enough for now.

Response to TFDP Vol 1 #2
Hello Dog Lovers,
I see that Hamlin Park has made a comment and is following us too. If your dog was not mentioned in the first post....not to worry, every dog will have his day.
Today, May 2, 2010, it was grey, but not rainy at Wiggly. There was a photographer visiting who is planning a story for Chicago Social Magazine's June issue to be out in the beginning of June. There will be a story and photos of one special dog. It could be yours????
I heard that John had written a comment, though I do not see it. That could simply be my techno-challenged nature. The comment supposedly introduces the one and only Chimmy... 4 year old Portugese Water Dog who is queen of the tree stump sitting contest. She sits on the stump and then jumps up to catch tennis balls thrown in her direction. Usually, she catches it. I am told the her human calls her , "The Iberian Bitch" who struts into dog park with great ado.
I have it on reliable information that the cheerleaders and the tomboys are into it once again. It seems that there are various factions in dp. Me, I try to stay clear of all of them, because it is about the dogs. But dp, like everything else is a microcosm of society and life. Conflicts arise and are or are not settled. Romances start and end...and some continue.
Kristen is a warm weather only dp human. She and her mighty pugle, "Bruzer" are regulars once the sun comes out. Bruzer is quite a handsome little boy with a big attitude. He and Chimmy are best dog park dog friends.
Today, Blanche, the American Bull dog pup of a huge 7 months of age was whining because Aengus the chocalate lab, as usual, was hogging the red evil Kong toy. Blanche kept barking and then bit the feet of the kong to attempt to pull it from Aengus's mouth. No such luck. But it was quite an amusing site. Occasionally, Blanche would swipe her paw against Aengus' snout. Pretty cute. But, in the end, Aengus prevailed. I am told the
