ROMANCING ROVER

Hello,

Well, I was thinking today of the movie, "Romancing the Stone". Then I thought of Romancing the Pizza...this food addict's drug of choice..Lou Malanati's pepperoni. But, think about Romancing our Rovers. Much better idea and better for our health and the doggie' lives.

I, personally, have gotten more militant about animal rights' since being a regular at dog park. I want to go out and rescue another dog. But, my better judgement tells me, at this time, not to do it. Then I saw a show on animal planet about dog hoarders...pretty sick and ugly.

There are numerous people at dog park have lost considerable amounts of weight. They stopped Romancing the Pizza and began Romancing the Rover. Much better and the pooch never gives a Human indigestion.

Tonight my dog started making a semi-choking, heavy breathing sound. Clearly, she was having labored breathing. I tried rubbing her throat. She seemed to like that but it did not stop the labored breathing. I got her water bowl, but she would not drink. I looked down her throat...saw nothing. Finally, I had a bright idea...I gave her frozen green beans which she, generally has as a treat. Anyway, the frozen green beans cleared her throat. She then laid down and her breathing was easy and she took a nap. So, when in doubt, use a frozen vegetable to clear a stuck throat. Perhaps this post should be called, "Romancing the Green Bean"?
