A DOG BY ANY OTHER NAME...

Hello,

Today in the shaded bench retreat at the South end of dog park, today was host to a bunch of the ususal suspects. Present were: Mochi, Jordan, Floyd, Mojo, Chimmy, Ollie and Aengus, as well as, a scrumptious little newcomer to the park named....???He doesn't have a name. He is a sweet Springer Spaniel pup of 14 weeks who just arrived to Chicago from Alabama where he and a, nearly sibling, named Clara arrived at O'Hare on Saturday. Both are Springers and from the same breeder, although, different litters. Clara is brown and white and No-Name (for the time being ) is black and white. Why has No-Name not been named? Name came to his human's home to replace a similar looking Springer Spaniel named RAM. RAM went to the great beyond several months ago in a tragic passing. So, apparently, the human wants to name the new Springer Spaniel replacement pup, RAM. It is getting alot of flack from people out of respect for the real RAM. It is questionable about people who name their dogs after dogs that have gone to the great beyond. I think it is denial about the loss of the first pet....a way of pretending the first dog did not die. So, talk among yourselves and try not to cry.

Gary, human to Floyd and Mojo, as usual, was pulling everyone's legs...especially, mine. Yerbo, urboe, Juerbo, Herboe, Joe-Joe??? A person by any other name....Gary kept calling me these specious names pretending that they are real names and I am to figure out what it all means. I have arrived at the point of understanding what it means! It means nothing.

Anyway, Michel and I were cuddling up with the new Springer without a name. He is scrumptious and delicious and dog-knap-able. (not really)...but too cute for words. I think his name should be Sweetness. We should have a dog naming contest for this new pooch.

No...No More Stinking Wriggly's.

That's all she wrote. Roe
