ABLE CAIN....

Dogs Du Jour: Cain whose brother is named....I don't know. But, Able sounded like a good choice. Able (so to speak) was sold last weekend at age 10 weeks. Cain came to dp with his mother and grandmother. The two girls in this family were both, well, shall we say, obviously breeding dogs of the American Bull Dog type. You know, the kind like Isabelle whose human is Joseph the teenager. Apparently, 13 year old Joseph has discovered girls, because he is no longer at dp admiring pups. Oh to be young again, not. But, Cain a 10 week old male Am Bull dog pup, black and white and too cute for words was scrumptious and cuddled by all.

There are a number of new dogs to dog park. These are, also, Dogs Du Jour: the sort of bro-sis Rat Terriers named Daisy and Snickers. They look like siblings, but, were actually, rescued at different shelters. Molto cuto these two black and white terriers. Snicks immediately took to dp. Daisy, not so much. But she is getting used to it more with each visit.

Dog park drama continues. As I walked into dp today there was tension between regular people who dislike each other. One accused the other of not picking up after one of the dogs. The human did not believe the people leaving park. The park leavers yelled back...do you think we are making it up? The offended human said, sure do. Well, you know, whatever...I try to get into the Zen of dp, but sometimes, it is interrupted by such tensions. Life is too short for such BS.

I have seen a gorgeous new Berner pup named...(I can't remember) but a dog just like his humans' previous Berner named Boomer. Boomer left us about 6 months ago.

I feel like a rift...so here goes. WTF...the mid-term elections are going to be ugly. I know this will P.O. some people, but I feel badly for Barak Obama. I think he is brilliant, but, too Hyde Park, for the rest of the country, much less the world. He kinda blew it because it is, after all, "the economy, stupid", as Bill Clinton's campaign noted. Barak just had his own agenda. WTF with Rahm Emanuel throwing Barak under the bus? Rahm abandoning the ship is awful. I bet he and Daley had a nice talk prior to the announcement that Daley would not seek another term. One of the humans at dp said that Daley is not running again because of the municipal bonds coming due next year without money to pay back those who invested in said bonds. Wait til you can't pay the Police or Fire Depts. It will get ugly. But these are ugly times. Nonetheless, I see there is some improvement in the economy. About every block or two I see a new business opening. That is a good sign. I hear about people going on job interviews. I see that Trader Joe's on Lincoln is hiring 20 part time people with health insurance for part time. Most people there have college, if not, masters degrees.

I think how easily I used to blow through money. Especially, when I went to Las Vegas. I blew through and entire roll of quarters. Wow. But of the humana's of the dp supposedly said she would give her boyfriend$20 to blow himself. If you read that sentence one particular way, you will find that you have a tad of a dirty mind. It was innocently stated. I am told of one human that she has the mentality of a 14 year old boy. Hmmm. Have you ever noticed that the subject of sex comes up fairly frequently on the sunny side of the bench? Perhaps, it is just a core group of park deviates to go there...one never knows.

So today, we have covered Dogs Du Jour, conflict and sex. That about covers it all.
