But, Hawks fans would definitely disagree. Congrats, Hawks!
Today the dp was populated by some of the usual suspects, both Humans and dogs. Otis, Murphy, Taylor, Leila, Mochi, Chimmy, Ollie, Angus and Jordan were bounding around. We haven't seen much of Taylor lately, but he did make an appearance and sometimes a ruckus, but it was all in good fun. Today, as usual, Leila, aka, the Artful Dodger, ran like the wind and had everyone chasing her. It is so surprising that she runs like a fox but with her big butterfly, Papillon ears, flapping in the breeze. She was a tad nonplussed when a real Papillon showed up. She had never met one before and seemed a bit puzzled. Hmmm.
There was discussion among the humans about creating some kind of bench above the bench, from the best I could discern. It was interesting. Some ding bat keeps wearing white to dog park stating have you not heard of Oyx-Clean? Duh. It takes all kinds.
Bam-Bam was there last night for awhile...like two hours of being swung around by the rubber rings...not by the anatomy. Bam's human has been known to heal dogs with arithritis with his dog massage. Another burgeoning profession in the making. The recession is the spawn of many great ideas.
It occured to this writer that Jordan is a part of the pack. Jordan, a beloved Border Collie/Mix, just doesn't play with the other kids. She just wanders around trying to snitch a bouncing colored ball from someone. Usually she likes the blue one that belongs to Angus. When her human brings her own ball to play with, she won't play with it. But then, again, she gets to bark at the other dogs. But, she is part of the pack nonetheless.
Today Otis and BoBo were in top form play biting each others' neck fur. Otis' human was instigating this with great elan. Need to get the pups to exercize. The pool, thanks to Cheryl, continues to be a source of great enjoyment and occasional pee for the pups.
A new pup showed up from a rescue from NC. A cute, omni-present sheperd mystery mix...sweet thing that she a cuddle bunny. We lovers of dogs...many unmarried or without children or empty-nesters....it is an odd lot of us to be sure.
On that note... I will end for this evening because that is all she wrote. Roe
