GIADA, BAUER, FINDLAY AND GOOSE'S SECRET

Hello,

It was a bit rainy this afternoon at dp. But, there were a fair amount of frolicking going on in the puppy-land. The three pups: Bauer, a sweet, if precocious 5 month old Black Lab pup was giving Findlay, the 7 month old Golden, a real hard time. It seems that Bauer knows how to go for the dangling ear and other points of sensitivity. Findlay laid down and submitted to the feisty little lab-boy. Bauer is a replica of Burly (no "e") who is Goose' brother. Goose's secret...well, did you know what the secret is? Well, it is "How Goose Lost His Manhood, or How Oprah Wields Her Knife". We have it on reliable information that Oprah can be a bit of a "b" word. I have heard this from numerous sources.

Goose who can be a naughty boy was on good behavior today. His human was pleased and he was ever interesting to watch. Goose is from English Lab stock. That means he is lower to the ground and built sturdy. The other English Lab at dp these days is Frank. Aka, Frank the tank, there is too, a Tank to thank not spank.

Giada, a pretty Yellow Lab pup of 5 months, had a run in the something at her doggie day care which put her out of commission for awhile. But this pretty faced sweet thing is bouncing back and now having a great time with the others in the pack. Giada got her name from Giada Di Laurentis, the TV chef. Giada's humans are quite addicted to that show. Me, I preferr Molto Mario., but I could be wrong.

I was noticing how the "regulars' (both Humans and Canines) watch over other peoples' dogs and pet them all. Feels like we are at a suburban soccer game with dogs instead of 11 year old kids.

You often see dp virgins....one recently told me that she had bought her dog at a breeder at age three weeks. No that is not a typo. Her explanation was that the mother had a litter of ten, I think pit mixes, and the mother rejected the pups. The "breeder" then had to get rid of the pups. The human told me that her pup was the last to find a home....at age three weeks. Wow. But, she is a sweet dog and her human fed her with baby formula. Dedication. Too bad the "breeder" wasn't as dedicated, though they did find homes for the pups, albeit, way too early.

Remember that tomorrow, June 14th is Flag Day.

That's all she wrote. Roe
